Video conference with Phi Delta Phi Mexico

As part of our international exchange program, Phi Delta Phi Germany hosted a video conference with Phi Delta Phi Mexico on “Legal System of Mexico and Germany” on November 19, 2022.

First, our Mexican friends introduced us to the Mexican legal system. The introduction focused on criminal and constitutional law. After the introduction, a dialogue developed from many questions on our part. The questions were answered with great professionalism, so that we could learn a lot about the legal system of Mexico.

After the first round, it was our turn to return the favor. We presented and introduced the German legal system, especially the constitution, the court system, the requirements to become a lawyer and the electoral system. After our presentation, the Mexicans had just as many questions as we did before, so that once again an intensive discussion developed.

The exchange of experiences with Phi Delta Phi Mexico gave us the opportunity to think outside the box and learn how another legal system works. We would like to thank our friends from Phi Delta Phi Mexico for the exciting and cross-border exchange of experiences.
